We are now accepting submissions for advance reading papers for the 2024 Rebooting the Web of Trust 13 design workshop in Ventura, California, from October 7-11.
Digital identity is in a state of disruption. Between the exponential acceleration of artificial intelligence and the new EU Digital Identity Wallet becoming law, the pressure and opportunities for breakthroughs in decentralized identity is unprecedented.
RWOT is the premier venue for deep discussions with like-minded individuals focused on shaping the future of decentralized identity, digital humanity, and civil rights.

These are the topics that participants bring to the table to merge and mature into industry-changing white papers and repositories. Submitting an advance reading is a excellent way to seed topics and shape the focus of our design workshop. We offer significant discounts to all participants who submit an advance reading, ideally just one-to-two pages describing a topic that might be of interest to others. An advance-reading paper could focus on your area of expertise, highlighting the information that you can offer to other workshop participants, or it could explore on a topic you’re interested in learning about. Whatever topic you choose, an advance reading is your opportunity to kickstart the conversation and introduce your ideas to others.

Scholarships and Stipends Available
We offer travel stipends and ticket scholarships for select attendees bringing diverse perspectives to the event. To apply for either stipend or scholarship, you must submit an advance reading paper by August 2nd so we can make our selections before the August 9th Early Bird Deadline.
